Women Empowerment Program – Solar Technicians
Women are central to community resilience yet are under‑represented in technical energy roles. SVSSPF’s Women Empowerment Program recruits, trains, and mentor’s women from project districts to become solar service technicians supporting our school, clinic, and street‑light portfolios.
Training model

Intensive two‑week course conducted within the district to reduce barriers to participation.

Safety, tools, DC/AC basics, batteries, charge controllers/inverters, fault diagnosis, routine O&M, site documentation, and customer communication.

Implemented with leading institutions and SVSSPF engineers; assessments combine hands‑on practicums and short quizzes.
