Solar Street Light Program
Street lighting restores safety, mobility, and livelihoods in villages with unreliable or absent grid service. SVSSPF installs durable, stand‑alone solar street lights at accident‑prone junctions, market lanes, school approaches, and flood‑affected areas.
Technical approach
12 W LED luminaires with ~18 Ah battery and ~60 W panel on galvanized poles (or equivalent, tailored to local need).
Site walks with local leaders to prioritize high‑impact locations—commuting routes, women’s safety corridors, and community spaces.
Corrosion‑resistant hardware, tamper‑resistant cabling, and standardized spares.
Lifecycle support
Scheduled quarterly checks and corrective maintenance. Community members are trained to report, while SVSSPF handles technical maintenance.
Photo, GPS, and maintenance records maintained for each pole.
Insurance options available on request.

Partner with us
Packages typically deploy 20–100 lights per village cluster. Branding plates on poles acknowledge CSR partners, and sponsors receive location maps, commissioning photos, and an endline impact brief.
