Our Background
Solar Village Social Services Project Foundation (SVSSPF) was established in 2022 to advance the mission of its parent organization, the U.S.–based nonprofit Solar Village Project, founded in 2014. Created to lead and expand operations in India, SVSSPF focuses on delivering clean, reliable solar energy to rural communities with limited or no access to electricity. Building on SVP’s years of experience, we have installed hundreds of solar systems in schools, health clinics, and community centers—reducing dependence on harmful fuels, improving education and healthcare, and building climate resilience. Our work combines technical expertise with deep community engagement to ensure every project delivers lasting impact.
